BDM can then leverage its vast supplier network throughout Asia and Latin America to recommend lower cost sourcing alternatives to maintain (or even improve) levels of quality, service and technology.
Supplier Selection
The BDM Supplier Selection program includes auction management services, supplier risk assessments, and a supplier selection methodology that is adapted to each client’s particular industry, organizational strategy and practice. BDM can assume the selection responsibility for our client, partner with internal personnel to accomplish the selection, or provide general consultation with regards to supplier selection process efficiency.
Negotiation Contract Development
BDM has expertise and knowledge to effectively coach our clients before and after they enter into contractual agreements with suppliers. BDM advises clients with commercial matters pertaining to negotiation strategy, negotiation plan processes, Legal vs. Business “rules of thumb”, business risk, and general liability exposure. We have successfully negotiated contracts that vary in size, complexity, and type (equipment, service, spares). BDM can assume contract management responsibility or provide negotiation consultation as needed with the contracting / procurement agent.
